ANNUAL AIJS RUGBY 7 A SIDE IN ARAVON SCHOOL
ST. Gerards' retained the annual AIJS 7 aside rugby trophy for 2010, with a display of real power and no little skill as all before them were swept aside. Although everyone tried hard against them there were no answers to their power, speed and passing. Conditions were great for rugby and all matches kept on schedule. St. Conleths' were in the final with Gerards' and were well deserving finalists with excellent performances but in the final also had no answers for a fine St. Gerards'. Rory Allwright refereed and did a super job. The huge crowd were treated to excellent rugby and tasty tea coffee and snacks courtesy of the Aravon Mums. Many thanks to them and all who helped out. Aravon finished a creditable 4th We suffered more than our fair share of injuries. Placings. 1. St. Gerards'(1) 2. St Conleths' 3. Castle Park 4. Aravon 5. St. Marys' 6. C.U.S 7. St. Andrews' 8. St. Gerards'(2)
